Works begin 2000 on Linen Green Designer Shopping Village

Fresh investment, new tenants and plans for major visitor attraction bolster fortunes at the historic site and premier designer retail haven

Northern Ireland’s prestigious retail village, The Linen Green, is reaping the benefits of a multi-million investment plan which has successfully regenerated the historic site, securing its retail success and its popularity across the region.

Based in Dungannon, The Linen Green complex was developed between the early 2000s as a designer outlet hosting a wide and unique retail offer including boutique fashion, food, homeware and design.

With five new retailers added in the last 12 months, including R Nook, Simply Pink, Mountain Salt, and Bumble and Blue, the Linen Green is one of Northern Ireland’s largest, most attractive retail destinations, extending to more than 150,000 square feet and parking for more than 650 cars.

It currently has many niche retail brands including The Boudoir Boutique, Panache Shoe Company, Bedeck, Newbridge Silverware, Storey Womenswear/Menswear Synge & Byrne, Foxford and the Loft Cafe.

The Linen Green is historically important within the Mid-Ulster area as a former centre for the linen industry and this year, its owners are planning to open a brand new and enhanced exhibition and museum space to celebrate the area’s industrial past and boosting its attractiveness is a tourism destination.

An attractive, historic and unique location, The Linen Green has reaffirmed its position as a leading brand and designer outlet on the island of Ireland with a strong and strengthening retail offer located within a site that has a strong history and heritage which appeals to local, regional and international visitors.

Only 45 Minutes from Belfast and two hours from Dublin, the Linen Green has steadily become one of the busiest shopping & eating locations in Northern Ireland, with visitors travelling from across the region.

The Linen Green is made up of several buildings, all which reference their historic past, including The Workshop, Cloth Loft, Weaving Sheds, Framehouse, Warehouse, Dyehouse & Bleaching Sheds.

Within this quirky setting, there are currently 30 independent fashion, food and design stores which include four restaurants, physio & pilates studio, optician and new candle store with integrated craft workshop and exhibition area.
