Linen Green Museum NOW OPEN

Tuesday, 01 June 2021

The Linen Green Museum offers an insight into work and life at Moygashel Linen Mill from 1876 when Robert Stevenson III first rebuilt Orr’s Mill until it closed in the late 1980s and was redeveloped into one of Ireland’s premier shopping locations that is known as The Linen Green.

Its unique Linen Mill heritage is clearly evident today in its use of names for each of the blocks of shops including The Frame House, Warehouse, Dye House, Weaving Sheds, Bleach House and Cloth Loft.

Join us in learning about life and work at the Moygashel Mills; home to a vital community of thousands of men, women and children over hundreds of years
